Last week I was tempted by another Azorean Green Bean recipe…this time for CAVACAS.
I have loved these pastries for a long time and have bought them at the local Portuguese bakeries but have never had the opportunity to make them myself. I am going to be honest and tell you that I always thought they must be difficult to make since they are airy, large and so puffy…I had no idea how to make them until Azorean Green Bean posted the recipe on Facebook .
To my surprise they were super EASY to make and it was an even bigger surprise when I saw how amazing they came out and how TASTY!!
This is how they look when they come out of the oven…they literally pop out of the tins.
