DIY Christmas Mason Jar Centerpiece
I have a long wood box that I use as a centerpiece on my dining table.
It was one of those things that I asked my husband to make for me…
one of those things that often starts with a crazy look…like…you got to be kidding…are you serious…kind of look.
The best part is that even when he gives me that look, he always surprises me with just what I asked for.
I often fill it with dried hydrangea or pinecones.
This year I decided to add my favourite blue mason jars.
Again this was a very inexpensive little project.
I started by adding small glasses to the bottom of the mason jars to give them height.
I then used scrap paper as filler and topped it with wood circles that I cut from tree branches.
I added some sparkle to picks I purchased at the Dollar Store a few years ago…
just brushed the leaves with white craft glue and dusted them with glitter.
I love it when it comes together…sometimes it doesn’t.
And when that happens I just start over.
Hope your enjoying all your Holiday decorating as much as I am,
