Last Minute Holiday Pillows…that you can keep out all winter
You know I am all about easy projects…the easier, least expensive, the better!
These placemat pillows could not be easier…
You need to purchase placemats that are double-sided (have two layers that are sewn together).
I made a few this summer…
and they were so easy to make, and inexpensive (got the placemats on sale)
that when I saw these great placemats at HomeSense,
I knew they would make perfect pillows for my chairs this Christmas!
You start by opening one of the seams in the pillow.
Make the opening just big enough to fill with polyester stuffing or fiber fill.
I just use what I have around…usually stuffing from an old pillow.
Once the pillow is stuffed to your liking, just stitch the small seam…DONE!
Can it get any easier?
And they are the perfect size for the back of chairs or as accent pillows on your couch.

Thanks Cheryl, you don’t need to sew to make these, if you can’t stitch you can always just hot glue the small opening or use Velcro strips to close it. Merry Christmas!
