10 Champagne Cocktails to bring in the New Year.
It’s never too early to start planning for New Year’s Eve. Pop the cork and get the evening started with these festive cocktail recipes.
Combine the flavour of margarita and champagne into a fun cocktail. Garnish the glass with a sugared rim and lime wedge and you’re ready for a toast.
Also known as Blackberry Mimosas this beautiful drink is easy to make with fresh blackberries and a swig of rosemary as the perfect compliment.
Add a mixture of vodka, lime juice and ginger liquor and top off with champagne. To impress your guests garnish it with fresh mint and lime slices.
Bitters with chilled champagne is a favourite of my husband. Sprinkle bitters over sugar cube, pour bourbon into a chilled flute and top with champagne. Then add sugar cube and peaches.
With a blender, mix in peach sorbet, cognac, champagne and ice for a slushy consistency. Garnish with mint and viola it’s done. Pour yourself a glass and enjoy.
A tangerine sorbet drowned in champagne with vanilla ice-cream. A celebratory cocktail that is easily a dessert.
Stir together orange juice and heavy cream until combined, top off with champagne and garnish with an orange wedge. That simple!
Just 2 ingredients … champagne and sorbet. Scoop some sorbet into a glass and fill with champagne. If you have fresh raspberries add them in to tickle your palette.
With 3 ingredients – champagne, ginger ale and orange liqueur – you can sip this cocktail all night long. Add frozen cranberries and basil leaves for a holiday touch.
How about a mocktail for kids and pregnant women to enjoy … I suggest a glass of non-alcoholic mulled wine.
