Oh Christmas tree – Decor and Dine

Oh Christmas tree

I have been decorating my Christmas tree at the main house in turquoise and white for quite a few years now…

Adding red to my turquoise and white Christmas tree

It was time for a change!

Some fun red inexpensive ornaments changed the whole feel to the tree and the room.

I think it’s more playful…less serious.

It really didn’t take much…just a few red icicles, two boxes of ornaments and a red star.

It coordinates  perfectly with the new Christmas mantel.

And of course I had to add a few more red accents.

Hope you come back tomorrow to see what changes are happening in the dining room,

if you want to see what the tree looked like before the red accents…it’s here.

Would love to see how your all decorating…what’s your favourite colour for the Holidays?

Have a beautiful day friends,

Thanks Mary! I have a few other trees, one that is red and white, another that is a woodland theme and a tiny one in the kitchen that has gingerbread people. You tree is going to look beautiful with the reds.

Margaret your tree is absolutely gorgeous. I looked at the past tree and immediaely saw the huge difference. I am also trying to change up my tree this year, Before it was a hodge podge of colors but this year I’m trying to concentrate on the reds.

I absolutely love the addition of the red to your tree! While I love the turquoise and white and I love how the red gives your tree more of a playful pop but still so elegant. Sometimes a little change is good from year to year. I need to try something different next year with mine. Your living room looks gorgeous with all that beautiful sparkle and color, Margaret!
